DALLAS VISIT

In February, three staff members accompanied the 2005 girls, 2007 girls, 2007 boys, and 2009 girls to the Dallas campus to participate in sessions with the Dallas coaches and players. The goal for these types of programs is to accelerate player development and enhance club culture. Sting Soccer Technical Director, Stuart Hilton says, “By bringing these teams in to work with us, we aim to inspire them and augment their coachability. The experience is for both players and coaches- for their education, motivation, and inspiration.”

Ryan Davis, Director of Soccer Nebraska considers the event a huge success. “The whole idea was to create a developmental environment that was competitive, and also, lots of fun. That was achieved on every level." He added, “The players and coaches from both Nebraska and Dallas enjoyed collaborating so much and you could see the tremendous amount of development in the players. It was really a phenomenal event.”
