Titans Corpus Christi and Sting Soccer Hire Ian Sagstetter as Staff Coach

Titans and Sting Corpus Christi have hired a new staff coach, Ian Sagstetter who will coach the Titans 00/99B, Titans 01B, and Titans 03B teams, in addition to being an integral part of training and developing young talent through the Sting and Titans Academy Program.

Ian joins the Titans and Sting coaching staff from Indiana, after recently returning from Iceland after playing professionally for Njardivik. Previous to that, Ian was playing semi-professionally in the NPSL for Demize after completing his degree at Faulkner University where he was a career starter and served as Captain of the team through his final season. Ian pairs a strong playing career with a continued involvement in coaching the game at all levels. Serving as the head coach at a high school in Alabama while completing his studies, and running his own business training individual soccer players, he’s developed youth players into Region III ODP spots and Youth National team programs.

Ian will be an integral part of the Titans and Sting coaching staff. He has extensive college contacts and will work with the Titans boys side to continue to provide a pathway to college for players looking to compete at the next level. His attention to individual mastery within the team game will give the Titans boys an opportunity to showcase their talent as individuals and as teams. Ian will also focus on developing the youth of the club, working as a key staff member of the Titans and Sting Academy programs which kick-off tryouts at the end of August.

Titans and Sting Corpus Christi are looking forward to welcoming a new face to the soccer community who has the ability, passion, and knowledge to continue to help elevate the game of local soccer players and Titans and Sting teams.
