Dallas, Texas – April 25, 2017 - The Sting Soccer Organization is pleased to announce that Sting Austin has received acceptance into the top female youth development platform in the world, the Elite Clubs National League (ECNL). The announcement promises to further propel Sting Austin to build on the tremendous amount of success realized over a short time since its inception, and will provide area soccer players the opportunity to be seen on the national stage amongst the nation’s best.
Built on the proven and comprehensive developmental method of the Sting Soccer Organization, Sting Austin has quickly become a leader in South Texas. Sting Austin has multiple teams that qualified for the USYS Southern Regional Premier League last year, and the ‘02 team currently plays in the USYS National League. With two number one ranked teams in South Texas, State Cup Champions and Finalists, Disney Showcase Champions, and consistent finishes at the top of the table within the Southern Regional Premier League, the accomplishments of Sting Austin continue to build. Sting Austin currently has 26 players participating within the South Texas Olympic Development Program, three players that have progressed to the Region III team, and one player who has seen the game at the National Team level. With a solid core of players that are currently participating with Sting Dallas ECNL teams, the organization looks forward to Sting Austin joining the ECNL directly to continue to prove their quality.
Brent Coralli, Principal/Owner of the Sting Soccer Organization comments,
“It is very gratifying to see how quickly Sting Austin has found success through the established administrative and developmental structure we as an organization put into place. There is a lot of hard work behind the scenes from our administrative staff off the field, that contributes to successful programs on the field. To be accepted into the ECNL after such a short period of time since Sting first came to Austin is a credit to the dedication and tireless efforts of all of our staff on and off the pitch.”
Kenneth Medina, Director of Soccer for the Sting Soccer Organization echoes this sentiment,
“To see how quickly the quality of our teams in Sting Austin has reached regional prominence is a testament to the developmental model we have in place with Sting. I have worked personally with a number of Sting Austin players through our Sting Dallas ECNL teams and I look forward to seeing how Sting Austin takes the field in the fall with this exciting opportunity to give area soccer players a chance to complete at the next level.”
“We are very excited to welcome Sting Austin into the ECNL,” said ECNL Commissioner Jen Winnagle. “Sting Dallas has been one of the top development clubs in the country year after year, and we expect Sting Austin to quickly rise to also become one of the top programs in the Texas Conference.”

said Sting Austin Director of Coaching, Oscar Draguicevich,
“Sting Austin has experienced a tremendous amount of success in a short period of time and is evidence of the strong foundation on which it will continue to grow. Joining the ECNL will provide the platform to propel Sting Austin to take the field on the national stage.”
