About Jennifer Lynn Greybeck:

Jennifer Lynn Greybeck, passed away on March 21, 2012. Jennifer had an unmatched passion for soccer and excelled at it even while managing type I diabetes since the age of 9. Not only did she go on to become a

high school all state soccer goalkeeper, but she also was on varsity cross country, softball, and track teams all 4 years. In addition, she was instrumental in assisting division 1 club soccer teams (The Longhorns, The Capitals, and The American Eagles) to multiple state titles. Her ability and love for soccer led her to be nicknamed "Magic" because of all the magical saves she would make. She received a full scholarship to attend the University of South Alabama where she excelled both on and off the field. In her first year at the University she helped the team win the Big South Conference while earning dean's list recognition for her academic achievements. In addition, while she was in college she founded the South Alabama University Softball program. She graduated with honors and had multiple honor society memberships (Phi Eta Sigma, Alpha Chi, Omicron Delta Kappa, Beta Gamma Sigma) and went on to earn a Master's in Business Administration. After college, she continued her soccer passion through mentoring young goalkeepers and continuing to play on multiple indoor and outdoor teams. She had a love for helping others and pursued teaching and was employed at Robert E. Lee High School as a devoted advanced math teacher.  Jennifer would be proud to see the youth scholarships go to someone who has an equal passion for soccer, the drive to overcome any odds, and always willing to help others.
