Sting Elite Training Program

What is SET?

SET is a competitive, invitation-only Elite Player Program designed to increase player retention, attract top talent to the club and your team, and give players high-tempo training with other top players their age, tapping in to their competitive tendencies while understanding a different perspective of the game.

Additionally, coaches, players & parents alike will receive unbiased evaluations and feedback moving into the next Quarter, where the bottom 20% will be guided to ETA, leaving room for new players to compete. Elite players in SET will be invited to participate in one notable tournament per Quarter, so long as it does not conflict with something their coach already has scheduled.

Benefits to the Club

Outside of the top team in each club, generally speaking, the top two or three players will inevitably leave to another team or club altogether, leaving that team susceptible to implosion.  By giving those top players an outlet to compete with the top players in their age group, it keeps them satisfied and engaged. The goal of the program is to be so attractive that it seals the deal with top players outside of the club. SET, in theory, will also benefit and grow the ETA program.  All players that were not invited to the program, wish to be in the program or need more work before returning to the program, will be guided to ETA.  And, top players in ETA will have an opportunity to participate in SET.

Benefits to the Coach

Similar to Benefits to the Club, coaches will be able to not only have a greater chance of keeping their team together, but attract more players into their team by having SET players not already in the club be filtered to those teams, or in an environment where that coach can observe players and speak to parents.   When parents and players at other clubs are not quite ready to leave their current team, SET will allow you to invite them into the Sting universe without strings attached. From here, the program will take care of the rest and bring them over the finish line.

Coaches may attend and observe any SET session!

Benefits to the Player

This quarterly program will progress from the individual to team play over the course of the six sessions.  The sessions are hand-selected with greatest efficiencies of player-to-rest ratios, player to ball ratios, high-tempo and high demand all in an uber competitive but fun atmosphere.

The players will not leave a session without technically mastering the topic, and understanding its “why.”
