Sting 01 Aldrich shut out every team they faced in their march to the championship game at the Arlington College Showcase Tournament December 11-13, 2009. This impressive performance continued into the championship game as the team continued the shut out in regulation and overtime play. The drama continued into penalty kicks but the suspense was finally broken when the fifth PK made it into the goal to break the tie and ended the game. Congratulations to the Sting 01s on their hard fought 2nd place finish. The girls made it known that they will be a force to be reckoned.
