The girls were a little apprehensive at first, especially as this would be their first event as a team rather than as a pool, and because they would be competing against older teams (99's), but all of their nerves quickly vanished when the first match kicked off. From that point forward, it was just kids playing soccer.

Sting West 2000-Murin also fared well advancing to finish as a finalist in the 2000 age group.
Sting '99-Webb and Sting '99-Martin also performed well advancing to the semi-finals of the Gold Division.
