For the past year Sting East has been directed by Angie Rigsby, Director of Player Development for the East Division. Under her leadership the Sting East Division has grown from the ground up with no competitive teams or academy players, to a thriving and developing program with some younger competitive teams, and several teams in the academy age groups.

With the Grand Opening almost two months behind us, the Sting East Complex in Rockwall has made significant progress. As seen in the photos above, the groundwork for this first class soccer facility is underway.

With blue and white balloons flying high through the sky, music jamming in the background, and smiles all throughout, Sting East recently had its ground breaking at R.I.S.E. in Rockwall on Thursday, April 1^st, 2010. Bounce Houses, Radar Guns, ‘It’s a Girl Thing’ cakes, a balloon release and the Cha Cha slide set the stage for Sting East players to let loose and enjoy an evening that celebrated the promise of an exciting new era in soccer in the East Dallas area.
